Reported in the “Daily News – NY, Tres Knippa, a former CME trader was one of nine fraudsters in $131 million stock manipulation scheme. Tres Knippa III, 45, who appeared on “Varney and Co.” on July 15, 2014 shilling the ForceField stock. The show’s host, Stuart Varney, asked Tres Knippa whether he owned ForceField stock, according to the indictment unsealed in Brooklyn Federal Court.
“You bet I do. I put my money where my mouth is,” Knippa replied, although he did not own ForceField stock as he claimed, prosecutors allege.
